Rebecca Cantrell is the Greene County Director for United Way of the Greater Dayton Area (UWGDA). Rebecca’s primary focus is to pursue new opportunities with potential and existing agencies that lead to active organizational growth by identifying, contacting, developing, and bringing all sectors together to create long-term change.
Cantrell offers a wealth of knowledge from the nonprofit sector. As a seasoned executive with ten years of administration in nonprofit management, Rebecca brings the aptitude to solidify relationship growth through direct involvement with coalitions to solve community problems with investments in education, financial stability, and health.
When not working, Rebecca enjoys entertaining and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys volunteering her time.
In 2014, Cantrell served as the VP and Events Chair for the Wright State University Nonprofit Leadership Alliance (WSU NLA). Cantrell also served on advisory councils for many local youth organizations such as XYAA, Xenia Youth Athletic Association (2010-2013), Reds Rookie Success League Dayton (2013-2014), Xenia Select Bucs Baseball Co-Founder (2012-2016) and Xenia Hometown Christmas (2016-2018), as Events Chair.
