“I stuck my head out the window this morning and spring kissed me bang in the face” – Langston Hughes.
We send you greetings from the Community Impact team. While spring may have sprung a bit prematurely, and perhaps not all the way sprung, it reminds us all of amazing possibilities and potential. United Way of the Greater Dayton Area (UWGDA) is committed to uplifting our neighbors by building supportive communities who work with us to support families on their journey to stability and assuring the community has access to services to meet their basic needs. We are grateful to our donors, volunteers and partners. YOU are key to assuring that services and impactful strategies are possible. We welcome your involvement in helping us help others. Please let us know how you might like to deepen your engagement in this important work of building strong communities! Our team is here to answer any questions you might have or ideas you think might uplift our neighbors. UWGDA is a volunteer led organization, so if you have the time and the inclination and want to engage with us on a deeper level, please feel free to reach out and inquire about opportunities to do just that. This is our home, our community and together we can assure that individuals, families, seniors and youth have a quality education, access to positive health outcomes and the financial stability needed to provide for themselves and their families. Together we can help create the possibilities and potential for all of our neighbors! Thank you for supporting YOUR UWGDA!
